Evil in the Post Modern age

Is ISIS.  They appreciate nothing.  They care for nothing.  They are their own little club of awesome surrounded by a world of nothing.  Hence, rather than seize upon artifacts and art that they could even use for leverage or profit, they simply destroy.  As my boys pointed out, and I posted earlier, they are the ultimate post-modern evil.  They are the Nazis for the post-modern age.  They are what our modern world of the post-modern Internet has created.
