Dr. Larry Chapp looks at Pope Francis

By looking at the actions toward the John Paul II Institute in Rome. I was going to add a few thoughts, but that would be like asking to add a ditty to the Amadeus soundtrack.  It's a good read, and I disagree with little of it.  But I'll leave others to read through and make their own decisions.  Enjoy.

  1. Other than the use of terms like "Liberal," and "Conservative," (terms which don't really belong in a theological setting, as they refer more to secular politics), this article seems pretty spot on.

    1. There were a few things that I would have preferred not be there. For instance, his beginning with a 'I'm not like those Trads over there" disclosure. Though in defense for the not theological terms like liberal and conservative, part of Pope Francis's issue is that he seems far more concerned with partisan political ideologies than religious doctrine.
