Happy Birthday Charlie Brown

It was on this very night, at this very time 50 years ago, that a legend was released for the American viewing audience.  A legend that maintains its freshness and quality all these years later,   I already wrote my thoughts on this some time ago.  It's enough to say that, after all these years, it still remains fresh.  Perhaps that's because it was out of its own time even when it was released.  I don't know.  It was simply one of those lightening in a bottle moments that likely couldn't be (and wasn't) repeated any time soon.
