    Worse than that.

    There's Final Fantasy Tactics... FF Dissedia... FF Mystic Quest... and I'm just a casual fan.

    Actually the story goes that the game studio was on the verge of bankruptcy so "Final Fantasy" was made intending to be the final game they released.

    But then it became a huge hit and we see how things went from there. ;)
