South Carolina Republicans Unite

To elect Hillary Clinton.  Or perhaps Bernie Sanders.  Either way, it is almost impossible to imagine a scenario where Trump would win the general election.  The man says nothing, means nothing, and doesn't appear to sweat reality.  The substance of his answers is 'things and stuff and win!'

He could drink a beer in front of the camera, then insist he never drank a beer in front of the camera.  If you called him on it, he would let fly with all the insults and vulgarities one expects from a youngster struggling through puberty.  Within my youngest boy's time he was a staunch supporter of almost everything conservatives, Christians and Republicans oppose.  He appoints an anti-Conservative, anti-Christian activist as his national spokesperson.  His debate performances are bad in a 'never seen this bad before' kind of way.

And yet, in the end, 42% of Republicans in South Caroline insist they really do want a Democrat to win the White House in 2016.

  1. What's darkly humorous is that I can find just as many blogs with people saying the exact thing, flipped (that is, voting for anyone other than Trump is handing it to the dems).

There's a lot going on this election season... and not a bit of it is helped that people on the same side seem to be unable to talk to each other any more.

  2. I can see some in the GOP supporting Trump. I just can't fathom conservatives or Christians supporting him.

  3. From what I've seen from some conservatives & Christians, they support Trump because "the national border is the only issue that matters this election" and Trump "is the only one talking about it." ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
