Our very Catholic president responds to the Roe decision

By pledging to fight like a mad dog to keep abortion as it was: Legal, unrestrained and allowable from conception to mere seconds before viable birth.   I'd like to say something about his Catholicism and how our abortion for sex culture is an affront to God and human decency.  But this is modern Catholicism.  Given our pope's priorities, I don't know how much footing I would have.  Suffice to say, President Biden is among those Catholics who believe the only acceptable way to live the Gospel is through the filter of modern, secular leftwing activism and worldviews.

  1. Why, why, why isn't this evil man excommunicated? Not just barred from communion in some parishes. EXCOMMUNICATED. I have in mind here the movie scene with Thomas a Becket (Richard Burton) casting out King Henry II (Peter O'Toole). This should come from Francis, but it won't.

    1. Becket was a great movie, however in the movie it was a noble who had murdered a priest who was excommunicated, not Henry II. The king was depicted doing penance over the killing of St. Thomas Becket since by his words and actions, other nobles were motivated to take murderous action.

    2. I can't speak to the excommunicated part, but if this isn't worthy of being excommunicated over, then I'll assume excommunication is something we don't do anymore. But a nice rebuke from the Vatican might be nice. After all, Pope Francis was no stranger to rebuking other presidents in recent memory over certain topics.

  2. Wasn't Henry VIII excommunicated and as a result the Pope lost most of Catholic England too. He still did it.

    1. True that. But as I said to David, at least a nice rebuke from the Vatican might be nice. Or maybe his own bishop.

  3. What Biden says is his dying brain trying to make sense of what the Klain crew have put on his cue cards. I wouldn't pay it any mind except as a fuzzy indicator of what Klain and company will try to do. Everyone knows Merrick Garland's 'Justice' department is sh!tsack central.

    1. Even so, it would be nice to see someone in Church leadership say something about this. Even if we strongly suspect he's going according to the cue cards, he's still the most prominent Catholic in the US right now, if not the world. And a little slap on the wrist might do wonders. If, of course, those who would do the slapping even believe any of it any longer.

    1. There might almost be a rebuke to this, but I'm at a loss for what it might be.
