At least President Obama is breaking fashion barriers

If not all of his promises for a brave new world have panned out, at least our media is at its usual depth of coverage in keeping us abreast of the important things in history.  Here, we're told that President Obama, while he was on vacation - wait for it - wore sandals.  He might even be the first president to every wear sandals publicly! If that doesn't bring me peace of mind, I can't imagine what will.  The fact that we're treated to a long list of former presidential footwear suggests this is not the first time our beloved media kept track of the urgent things in life.
