It has always kind of bugged me that the Statue of Liberty would exist at all in the circumstances shown. It is not some Egyptian colossus of stone that will survive millennia; it is a hollow construction that would collapse into rubble if left untended, let alone subject to a bombing or a tidal wave (as in The Day After Tomorrow) or whatnot.
I remember that. I don't think I ever watched it. At that point I was in college, though I remember us watching some of those cartoons - for a chuckle.
I was about 10 when it came out. I think my younger brother liked it more than I did, but we both knew that, even if the "sorcery" worked, a thousand year old helicopter would not.
