That's almost unfair to Rodong Sinmun. I can't believe anyone would take WaPo seriously at this point. The scary part is, I don't think they do. They just say so because it's convenient to say so.
I feel the obsession about Trump/MAGA is to justify support for a movement increasingly proud of its heresies, blasphemies, intrinsic evils and sins that cry out to heaven for vengeance (including the growing contempt for poor people when caring about poor people is no longer convenient). By constantly saying 'but MAGA, but MAGA, but MAGA' they embrace the Left's claim that Trump meant throwing all values and morals out the window for the greater good of defeating the greatest evil in history. In short, consequentialism.
I'm afraid it makes perfect sense, given where things are going. In an odd twist, I remember Mark Shea writing many years ago that there will come a time when the Left no longer condemns the church over sex with children, but rather condemns it because it refuses to condone sex with children.
Pure child abuse.
ReplyDeleteNot sure why repeat comments but I apologize.
ReplyDeleteNo problem. This is so egregious it deserves to be called out twice.
DeleteYou didn't even need the headline. "Washington Post" was enough. The Washington Post has all the credibility of the Rodong Sinmun.

DeleteRemember, the real problem is the 'MAGA cult', except when it's 'court evangelicals'. Mark Shea and John Fea assure us of that.
