Scientists prove how birds first flew!
Which should be news the reporter, given that we're usually led to believe that science already knows little things like that. Truth be told, as a physicist and mathematician once explained to me, based on our current laws of science and understanding of flight, flight could not have evolved. It's impossible, for flight is more than the existence of wings, or as this article suggests, wings and a brain wired for figuring out how to fly. It has to have the entire organism in place, bone weight, mass, body shape, wing size, etc., in order to be able to fly. There is no way those things could simultaneously evolve - or the chances are so beyond comprehension that it's far easier to believe the Tooth Fairy did it. That's not to say he believed such was some slam dunk against evolution or anything. It merely went to show the deficiencies in what we actually know versus what we wish we knew but often pass off as knowledge - something that would have been nice for this reporter to catch.
