Attacks against Christians may be a bummer

According to our State Department, the recent wave of attacks and mass killings of Christians in unidentified parts of the Middle East and Africa (that is, not necessarily defined as the Muslim world), is cause for concern.  Darn nice of them.  Glad to hear it.  If nothing else, at least the Muslims who are doing the killings, and those who choose to yell at the Pope for getting involved rather than, you know, focusing on the killings, might be waking a few folks up to the problems at hand.  I'm confident many immersed in the anti-Western super-narrative will continue to imagine it must be our fault somehow.  But as events unfold, that approach is beginning to sound hollower by the minute.
