How terrible is the existence of women

That's certainly the impression you get from the modern Left and its embrace of transgender activism as a main column of attack against the Western Tradition.  Think on it.  Have you ever noticed that almost all terms and phrases that spin around the post-binary gender lexicon seem to tear away at the unique characteristics of women and womanhood?  Non-menstruating people. Non-Birthing bodies.  Non-lactating.  And of course the converse is true for describing those people formerly known as women.  Notice the dearth of terms like non-testicular people or, well, you get the point.

It seems aimed at women far more aggressively than men.  Likewise, I know some feminists have chafed at the whole drag queen culture.  From those I've heard complain, they compare it to a misogynic version of black face.  Men dressed as, and presenting themselves as, a sexist caricature of the worst stereotypes of a woman.

This doesn't include the horrifying things said to such prominent opponents of transgender activism as JK Rowling or Riley Gaines, that never seem aimed at men who oppose transgender activism in the same way.  Have you seen the things written about them?  Woof.  I know it's the age of the Internet and almost anyone can be threatened or attacked online.  But what was stunning was the silence of those on the Left, including the global press that once so adored at least Rowling and her liberal ideals back in the day. There was nothing, or stories about how she was merely receiving pushback over her 'transphobic comments.'

Now it looks like the Global Government has stepped in and smacked down a center Rowling funded that helps women who are victims of rape.  Apparently, this is because she funded an organization to help women through the trauma of rape and sexual assault and similar violence.  The problem with that?  It's for women.  Because it's set up to help women.  Which made Amnesty International initially condemn the organization as 'anti-rights'.  Which is a euphemism for non-leftist.  Rowling being Rowling apparently fired back, and now Amnesty International is walking back the report, insisting it didn't go through proper protocol.

But think on it.  Am I the only one who can't help but think it's women, and overwhelmingly women, who are in the crosshairs of the transgender revolution?  But then, it seems women have been in the crosshairs for quite a while.  After generations of being elevated as THE demographic group that could pretty much demand anything and get it, there has been some qualifying there of late.  Remember when I wrote, here, about that trend a few years ago of saying white women can't be raped.  That is, they can be sexually assaulted, and it's bad let me tell you.  But rape is about power, and no matter where she is under a black man violently raping her, she has the power.  There was a kerfuffle here in the Buckeye State when some local professor shared a post in 2020 saying the same thing about a local case of a young white girl named Reagan Tokes who was kidnapped, raped and murdered.  Though that does seem to have passed its sell-by date.  Nonetheless, you do have to wonder.

Perhaps that's why more women voted for Trump in 2024 than had before.  Much to the chagrin of anti-Trumpers who can't believe they would vote for someone with a reputation with women like Trump.  How?  How could they vote for him when the Democrats are there with open arms?

Then look at all this.  I mean, it's really hard to believe you give two swinging damns or a hell about women when such horrifying attacks are made against them as you say nothing about it.  Or when wanting to focus on the needs and safety of women is attacked for suggesting there is such a thing as women in the first place.

In case you were wondering

A mural to the slain Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska has been ordered to be removed.  Apparently the mural was painted on the side of a gay bar, and the owners quickly snapped into action as outraged erupted across Providence, RI.  As the mayor said, while tragic, such murals of single individuals slain like George Floyd Iryna Zaurtska cause more divisions than do good.  Plus, as mayoral candidate David Morales explained, such a memorial in no way reflects the values of Providence.  I'll leave the gentle reader to ponder just why this particular memorial to a young woman who was so brazenly murdered doesn't reflect the values of Providence, Rhode Island.

With each passing day it becomes easier to avoid the Left like the soul plague that it is.  And I don't make statements like that lightly. Never in modern times has a movement yelled so loudly from the rooftops that it cares not one rip for the slaughter of a thousand innocents but that they can be exploited.

Of course I could be wrong.  Perhaps they are merely standing on some longtime liberal position that murals are always bad because they could be divisive.  There's always that.

Jordan Peterson quits

Jordan Peterson has resigned his position as tenured professor at the University of Toronto.  He explains why here.

First, my qualified and supremely trained heterosexual white male graduate students (and I’ve had many others, by the way) face a negligible chance of being offered university research positions, despite stellar scientific dossiers. This is partly because of Diversity, Inclusivity and Equity mandates (my preferred acronym: DIE).

As the father of four white, Christian, heterosexual, American men, I feel the pain.  Our society has no problem telling me to suck on it if my sons get treated unjustly.  On that parallel universe of the Internet, I've been told boohoo more than once when lamenting the struggles of my sons. After all, they're men, white, American, Christian and heterosexual.  Whatever happens, they deserve it.

It's racism.  It's bigotry.  It's discrimination.  It's what we've heard is nothing but pure evil ever since the end of WWII.  Yet in barely a generation, the world snapped its fingers, declared good what yesterday was called evil, and how many have fallen over themselves to embrace it?

In case they are wondering, the ones embracing this latest form of bigotry and discrimination are not the ones who would have stormed the beaches.  Far from it.

Racism and sexism on full display at The New York Times

Nowhere better can you see modern bigotry and race hate on display more flagrantly than this piece at the New York Times.  The Times, which has amassed a respectable number of pieces over the last few years extolling the virtues of communist states over America, makes its own requisite hatred of white men, if not whites in general, more than clear.

Again, if people who embrace the latest manifestation of bigotry and prejudice today lived 80 years ago in Germany, the likelihood is that they would have embraced the same then.  The point of studying the past is to avoid the sins of the past, not insist those sins only belong to the past and when you repeat them now, you're right since you're the right type of person hating the right type of people for the right reasons.

Oh, and the same is true for those who think they're off the hook because the ones they hate are in their own particular demographic. That keeps the racism and bigotry, and adds a dash of Quisling for flavor, and nothing more.

Who cares about sexual assault?

Apparently nobody of importance, that's who.  So our glorious Left has once again launched a virus spreading series of riots and destruction across our country because a black man was shot in the back by a police officer.

Stop.  Am I saying the officer was right?  Am I saying the black man, one Jacob Blake, deserved it?  Am I saying we have all the evidence we need when we see an edited video played on the national media?  Heaven forbid.  I'm of the old 'wait for the evidence and the facts before heading to the guillotine' school.

Nonetheless, like most of what we've seen in the Left's assault on America by way of hyped and edited videos, the more we learn, the less clear it is. In some cases, like Nick Sandmann, the truth eventually shows the original charges to be 100% false.  In other cases, it at least suggests the initial accusations as inspired by the "news media" aren't quite the whole story.

That appears to be the case here.  Again, the officer might have been out of line for shooting the suspect so many times in the back.  I don't know all the facts.  And I'm not saying modern law enforcement isn't in need of some reimagining of itself.  But again, still not all the facts.

But it does look like Mr. Blake was hardly the leading candidate for 4th Member of the Holy Trinity either.  He has had multiple run ins with the law.  The reason the police came after him was, apparently, he had absconded with someone's car keys against their wishes.  And he had at least one warrant out on a third degree sexual assault charge (that's having sex with someone without their consent).

Look at that last one.  Let's get into our Wayback Machine and travel back to those ancient days of 2017, after President Trump entered the White House, and the #MeToo movement exploded onto the world stage.  Almost overnight, around the globe, demonstrations and protests erupted as women wove nightmare tales of endless sexual harassment, sexual abuse, and all out rape.  Day after day was met with one man  after another being accused of everything from suggesting women smile to throwing coworkers down on a desk and sexually attacking them.

No matter what the evidence of lack thereof, no matter what degree of crime being suggested, it was all taken with the same gravity and seriousness as s discussion about the Holocaust.  Each man so accused was put on the hot seat and had best damn well have some alibi to get them off the hook, or they were toast. Even joking about sexual harassment became passe, and entire swaths of the last 50 years of entertainment were put under the microscope and dissected for such sexist and misogynistic attitudes toward women that fueled such an unforgivable society in need of #MeToo to save the day.

By the time of The Handmaid's Tale, and the Kavanaugh hearings, it was clear: perhaps apart from racism, there was no more heinous or irredeemable sin than sexual assault, or any such sex based crime, particularly when perpetrated by men against women.  That was it.  The entire history of the world was labeled patriarchal, and by definition it was now able to be reexamined and dismantled in kind.

Or at least until a week or two ago when it was revealed that Mr. Jacob was, in fact, accused of sexual assault.  And then - puff!  Suddenly Sexual Assault was no big deal.  Really, read this "Fact Check" article at USA Today.  Sure the sexual assault charges appear to be real, but let's not go overboard.  He technically was never convicted of gun violence, and other charges of assaulting police were dropped, so can we really care about what this guy might be?  Isn't the important thing that he's now a millionaire and has been sainted and deified like George Floyd because, well, none of it matters?  What matters is he is a black man who was shot by the police.  If he gang raped babies, I don't think we'd care any more than we do about the possibility of sexual assault.

My family was talking about this, and an interesting point was made.  Here in the central Buckeye State, mayors and our governor have been scratching their heads over why violence - including, but not limited to, gun violence  - has skyrocketed since last year at this time.  Could it be gun laws?  Probably not, since the gun laws haven't changed.  Could it be Covid?  Perhaps.  It seems to be the latest 'cause of everything.'

Or perhaps it's copycats.  My boys pointed out that whenever there is some horrible crime, like a mass shooting, we often hear about the possibility of copycats.  Even if the shooters are portrayed as monsters and villains and demons, there will still  be a chance others will copy what they did.

Given that these black men shot or killed by cops are being made into messiahs (really, remember when some Jesuit compared the killing of George Floyd to the Crucifiction of Jesus Christ), is it possible that we're seeing copycats on acid?  After all, these fellows are being declared gods, saints and heroes.  If a mass shooter decried as human excrement still gets people to copy what he did, how much more likely will people want to copy these men who have criminal records, may have been involved in crimes, resisted arrest and even threatened police - and then became the darlings of corporate America, the US government, religions and athletes and celebrities the world over?

This might be your chance.  Commit crimes, assault the police, and if you survive, you could be on easy street for the rest of your life.  Even if you don't, you'll be elevated to a toasty place been Lenin and Che Guevara in terms of hero worship and veneration.

Even if those crimes you committed are sexual assault.  Which, we find out on this good September morn, is now just one more of those minor issues we can simply dismiss as incidental to the important things in the world.  And, it's worth saying, can be perpetrated while still being called a hero for your efforts.  Perhaps my boys are wrong, but I don't see the deterrent in this.

Abby Johnson under fiery assault

I know little about Ms. Johnson.  I know she had a 'conversion' experience from being pro-abortion to pro-life.  As such, she has become quite the hero in the pro-life movement.   As such, she has no doubt been under withering assault from the Left's version of the KGB known as the news media.  Again, I know little of her, but I'd wager there have been 'investigative reports' that suggest whatever bad they can suggest.  Same thing that has been done with Candace Owens.

Apparently this, which has brought about the ire of Catholic bloggers, here and here, has to do with her biracial baby that she adopted.  She said things that, if you assume she's a liar and vile racist, are damning.  Of course she may mean nothing at all. It may just be innocent banter about her adopted baby.

In the 21st century, however, there is nothing innocent, especially among those who stray from the Leftist Plantation.  In Ms. Johnson's case (and Ms. Owens), they represent particularly dangerous threats to the Left.  They are 'designated special groups', in this case women (or in Ms. Owens' case, a black women).  So when they stray from the plantation, they jeopardize the slick and easy stereotypes and narratives the Left labors to instill in our minds.

Therefore, like blacks, former homosexuals, anti-illegal immigration Hispanics, pro-Christian heritage Jews, or any from DSGs, they must be cut down to size.  They must be beaten down, or just beaten, until they return to the camps or get banished to oblivion. This is the nation the Left wants.  You will cow to the Left, or pay the ultimate price.  We see it coming, will we be able to muster what it takes to stop it?  The future knows.

A wonderful rebuke to Gillette's anti-Male advertisement

Here:

Yep.  That men don't dare say Boo to women, while we can accept that men are neanderthal rapist deplorables by virtue of being male, shows the power of feminism and how low men will grovel in mud to get some.  What was once an unfairly false stereotype of radical feminism has now become mainstream American thought.

Let's face it, when was the last time you saw anyone say anything negate about 'women' in general and live?  We're going to owe an apology to those previous generations we love to trash who wouldn't have been this stupid in their worst of days.  Meanwhile, let's see if the market does it's work on Gillette.

Bonus for recognizing that the anti-Male #MeToo movement is speaking about black men the way black men were always spoken about.  It's just that it's due to them being men, rather than black.  Wonder how that will go when black men realize that little fact.

In another post, John C. Wright eviscerates not only Gillette's sexist display of arse kissing, but also dares to point out the obvious about why we're in the mess we're in in the first place.

You keep thinking people are going to stand up and say Enough!. And yet it continues to decline into more madness on a daily basis.
