The best time for being a grandparent

When you have a chance to watch all of your grandchildren together.  Of course there will likely be a numerical limit to that down the road.  But as of now, when the grand total of grandchildren able to be babysat is two, it's a go.  And a fun go at that.

On top of all the fun, it was decided over at the house to get some turkey legs and roast them along with some roasted spiced potatoes, leeks, and for dessert, a seed cake that would make Bilbo proud.  They figured what better way to kick off the approaching Fall season?  Though our third son wasn't available owing to work, we made sure to save him a plate.  All was right with the world.

We did get to see both grandkids this weekend, but that one was too good to pass up and not post.  Nonetheless, never one to miss a chance to brag on them both, we had dinner with them today and that yielded a few good shots itself.
