I know, I know. The Catholic Church doesn't owe me anything. I've been informed of that several times in my journey. Still, it's no fun when things are unraveling and you are aware of the fact that all you need do is step back into your past life and all will be well. Perhaps this is just the cross we are called to bear right now, that I believe the Catholic Faith to be the True Faith, and whatever else come what may. Still, I can at least have fun with it. As finances diminish, and things get desperate, I couldn't help but think of this classic WB cartoon:
