So our local movie theatre has been undergoing restorations. That's pretty big news, since not only can it make some of the, er, facilities a little more user friendly, but it might also stir up some of those pesky ghosts said to haunt its back stage. Still, as big as it is, you have to admit it's funny to see just how big it appears when the management feels it marquee level news:
Again, life in a smaller Midwest town has its benefits. FWIW, we love going to the Strand, and will miss some of that old decor that had more character in a single seat that teh combined total of every modern movie complex in Columbus. We just hope it keeps that wonderful family feeling.
