Et tu Brutus?

Perhaps this year, Brutus will have something to cheer about
Yes, as a matter of fact.  And much to the probable dismay of Brandon Hanning, Mr. Buckeye-on-my-head had to do quite a few push ups today, because Ohio State came out and looked like they wanted to make a statement.  After a shaky start, they seemed to find their groove, with Braxton Miller dominating as a rushing quarterback, and Urban Meyer showing there was not going to be any of this sitting on the ball in the third quarter because we're four points ahead style of playing.

Of course, it doesn't really mean anything this year.  Because of the horrific scandal involving tattoos for memorabilia that brought down Jim Tressel and turned the football program upside down, we can't go to the championship anyway.  Still, it's nice to see them try.  It will be interesting to see the changes.  Perhaps those who didn't buy tickets will regret it.  Of all years, this year they've been offering OSU tickets when we don't have the funds to get them.  Hopefully things will turn around for us, but if they turn around for OSU, that means I'll be back to the old one game a year looking down at the Goodyear Blimp.  Oh well, if it brings a little pride back to the program and the school, maybe it will be worth it.  And maybe, just maybe, the school won't feel the need to throw the poor fans under the bus next time we're doing well - but that's for some other post.  For today, well done Bucks.  Keep up the good work.
