No living in America, just surviving
So the Cincinnati Reds offend our big politically correct brothers by breaking out cigars and smoking them in celebration. Never forget we are a nation of busy-bodies intent on making everyone else live the way we think they should. If the American Health system put half as much effort into the pandemic of human suffering that floats in the wake of liberal sexuality, I might think it actually cared about our well being. But I'm increasingly convinced that many (not all) in our health system are merely using their status to help advance the brave new world order.

So you'd rather die of cancer? And you say Bill Maher is an idiot.
ReplyDeleteGrowing up in the 70s and 80s, we were taught that prohibition was the ultimate attempt in America to tell everyone how to live. Sure, making factories produce safe cars was good, and making sure our medicine and food was safe was OK. But at no point should anyone look at someone else and say 'you shouldn't live that way.' That was old puritan garbage. So I'm taken by our modern obsession with adding to the layers of 'can't do this, can't touch that, can't eat this' we've become used to. Especially, as I point out, we seem to ignore the human carnage and suffering in the wake of the liberal sexual revolution. When we start working on the whole sex problem issue, then I will think we really care about the other concerns.
