Because 40 years ago he dated seventeen year olds. At least that was then. Now sexing after seventeen year olds can be Oscar worthy, and in France, you're not even at the limit. Heck, going after fifteen year olds might be all the rage.
It didn't take as long as I thought. Incest, polyamorous relationships and kid sex have all been pushed in the wake of post-heterosexual normality. I figured that, given the sudden 180 that happened with Moore, the push to lower the sex consent age had hit a bump, and would be set back a few years.
But I underestimate the world the Left gave us. There is no truth, morality, values or standards. Just whatever works to advance the Left at the moment. Of course that's bad. It's one thing to accuse people of being witches or communists because it works at the moment. It's quite another thing to have to get back to you about what is or isn't a witch or communist.
On the flip side, however, we can be sure that if we're taught something is wrong today, by later today it might be fine. I suppose that's something.
