I'm sure you've heard, if you ignore the mainstream media, about the case in Sweden. Once again, it turns out it isn't some rightwing social media generated hoax. Though the Left is going so far overboard, you can forgive those who hear about what is going on and conclude it is a hoax. After all, it couldn't possibly be real.
But, alas, it is. A young Swedish girl was raped by an immigrant. The immigrant was arrested and charged. However, the harsh penalty of being deported for having raped a young woman was dismissed. The reason? Because while he did rape her, for reasons undisclosed the rape proper didn't last long enough. I know. It seems like a joke waiting to write itself. And if it didn't involve what it involves, you might think the SNL team came up with it.
But it's real. Of course we all know why. Sweden, like most of the West, is hellbent on its own destruction. Anyone not European and eager to help with that destruction takes favored status. Oh, if you're a woman wanting to tear down the Western Patriarchy, that's good. But if you run afoul of a more important demographic group, then sorry about your luck. Hence to this young woman and young women everywhere - maybe next time. The next time we want a political opponent taken out, then you'll matter.
We've seen this already, the idea that there is no human race or individual, merely intersecting demographics whose worth and value are based on the latest intersecting demographics. Given the number of minority voters who swung toward Trump in 2024, however, there might be a gradual dawning on these groups that they matter insofar as it is convenient for them to matter, and not a minute more.
But for now, the ever devolving Left is almost boasting that there is nothing so heinous, so evil, so dishonest, so brutal, and so terrible that it won't defend it, condone it, and even enable it - as long as it furthers the Left's ends, no matter who is harmed in the process. Those ends, again, being the end of the Western Christian Tradition including, but hardly limited to, the American Experiment.
For many years now we've made the tragic mistake of believing that we all place the same value on the life of others. There are cultures that cannot seem to live side by side with others in peace. And at least one whose religious views place women as chattel in society. These women are captives in their own submissive life. The religion of peace is such a lie that I laugh in the face of anyone and everyone who believes that. It is the religion of submission. The sooner we acknowledge that the sooner our societies will begin to stabilize. As with other cultures, not all adhere to the Judeo-Christian morality of the west, hence they are always at odds with it. We are in deep *hit.
ReplyDeleteThat was the prime directive of Multi-Cultural education. Never judge (at least anyone else but our own heritage), and accept that all peoples, nations, cultures are basically the same. Even so, when I was in college, the West/Christianity/the American Experiment, while focusing on the sins, were still presented as a net boon for the world. According to my sons who are or have gone through college in recent years, that is no longer the case. At best everyone else is the same. At worst, the only reason there are evils in the world is because of that Judeo-Christian morality of the west.
DeleteI have always thought the Scandinavians incredibly naive on the topic of human nature. This is also, IMO, why Minnesota is currently ridiculous. Because they would not take advantage of others or a system in a certain way, they cannot fathom other cultures would be glad to do so and it tanks their entire culture.
ReplyDeleteThat's probably more accurate than any other explanation I've even heard.
DeleteAn interesting take. That would certainly explain that massive level of crazy that has come to from the old Gopher state in recent years.
DeleteI just said the prayer of Saint Michael the Archangel. We are in the midst of spiritual warfare. This story is diabolical. It is exactly what happens when human beings are not treated as individuals created in the image and likeness of God and endowed with dignity. They are viewed as mere pawns to advance the leftist agenda and there no line they will not cross to dehumanize the human person.
ReplyDeleteThis is what happens when you devalue human life, as with abortion and, now, euthanasia. This is what happens when you reject God, who created us in His image, and embrace the Father of Lies, who hates us.
DeleteThings are going to get worse by many orders of magnitude before Christ returns to rule. This is just the beginning.
DeleteOur church does the St. Michael prayer after every mass. I've been thinking king of adding it to my daily prayers, as well.
DeleteThe older and more experienced I get, the more I believe in demons.
I used to think it of The Exorcist as fiction.
Our parish started doing that, too. And it feels all the better for it.
DeleteWe've had a new pastor since a year ago and we have been totally blessed. He has brought in confessions a 1/2 hour before Masses twice a month, first Saturdays, first Fridays, adoration three times per week after the Rosary and before daily Mass and at other times also. Young enough, late 40's he is, and the reverence he shows the Body and Blood of our Lord during elevation is second to none. As I've said, we are blessed. Oh, and yes. Prayer to St. Michael after every Mass.
DeleteWe've had a couple great pastors recently as well, and it looks like our new priest is going to be a blessing. All we really ask from our leaders is that they act like the Faith is important. Sounds like your pastor is.
Delete"there is nothing so heinous, so evil, so dishonest, so brutal, and so terrible that it won't defend it, condone it, and even enable it "
ReplyDeleteAnd also that "we don't care what your stupid laws are; we're simply going to break them until you are willing to kill us to enforce them." All laws are based, ultimately, on the application of force, and civilization is no longer willing to defend itself from the barbarians.
I remember talking with a fellow at an Antiochian Orthodox church. He said certainly we in the West don't think that, after almost 1000 years of trying, that the Islamic world just suddenly gave up on its goal of sweeping across Europe, do we? Sometimes I think the answer to that is yes, we do.
DeleteDeported? No. I want to see him hang.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, it does make you wonder if he was deported just what would happen to him. Would he in any way face justice? What would that justice look like?
DeleteAt the very least I advocate for the Lorena Bobbitt procedure.
