And pretty much sums it up.  We are seeing Democracy in the age of MTV.  An age that has long thrown out quality and depth for the right hairdo and perfect figure.  We live in a time where the media insists that a world leader is unworthy unless he or she can be awesome on a late night comedy show.  It is in that context that we will get our next generation of leaders.
