In this election season

A few words from the Bishops about whether we should vote or not.  From a piece I did a couple years ago when I got the impression that some esteemed Catholic apologists were trying to hedge the bet for where they planned on being on voting day.  For them it was simple.  Not only should you not vote for either party, but based on some very clever arguments, it was suggested that the very act of voting could jeopardize your soul.  So in response to that, I went and found the pertinent passages from the Bishop's guide to voting.  It's worth a read, lest we stumble across someone trying a little sleight of hand to use ignorance of the Bishop's teachings to buttress their own personal and biased opinions about voting.
