We need the "freedom to maneuver" in life, which is why while I believe there should be law, I side more on "don't make it unless necessary".<br /><br />May I also recommend <a href="http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/310633/angels-and-bats-jonah-goldberg" rel="nofollow">Jonah Goldberg talked about it in this article</a>. Basically the difference between "ordered liberty" and "naked freedom".
